CTS Scholarships: Rationale

Many keen students are hindered from pursuing theological studies because of financial constraints. To meet this need, CTS offers assistance with course fees to students who have been accepted onto a programme of study but are unable to meet the full cost of tuition. All scholarship recipients are required to pay upto 20 percent of the total cost of their tuition as a means of encouraging them to invest in their own education.

Beneficiaries of CTS Scholarships

Students are pastors, church planters, and those involved in church ministry (such as teaching, preaching, counselling, and working with children). Some students are in full-time ministry while others are in the marketplace while serving in various church ministries. A majority of the students continue to be involved in their ministries and workplaces while studying, while a few have taken time off to focus full-time on their studies. Thus, the CTS Scholarship Scheme offers 4 categories of scholarship support.
